Why should I pre-order?
Pre-ordering allows you to be the first to get your hands on these amazing shoes. Once we stop accepting pre-orders, customers will have to wait to order their shoes at a much higher retail price.
How do I pre-order?
You’ll be able to choose from the pledges, and press on the desired table. From there, you’ll have to enter in your personal information.
If I pre-order more than one item?
Yes, you can pledge for more than one shoe in different colors and different sizes.
How long will it take to receive my shoes?
We want you to enjoy your products as soon as possible, the estimated delivery is April 2017.
When does my credit card get charged?
Once we achieve our raising goal of 100 000$. If the goal is not reached within 60 days, you won't get charged anything.
Will these shoes be available for children?
At the moment we don’t have a “Kids Collection”. We hope to have this available in the near future.
Are these shoes available for women?
Women can order our product without problem - our men sizes fit the sizes of Salomon and New Balance shoes. **Although we’re working on a pair of women’s Powerlace shoe, at the moment we don’t have it available for pre-order.
How can I become a retailer?

Will your shoes be available in different colors?
Yes, based on the result of our survey, six colors have been selected.
Will it be in stores?
We’re currently working with some retailers, however at the moment we have nothing to announce. Once we have more information, we’ll put a complete list of retailers on our website to let you identify the nearest point of sales.
Have the shoes been tested?
Yes, we have been wearing the shoes every day, in any weather conditions, even rain and snow. We wear them to walk and even to run. We designed the shoe to make it as versatile as possible, for inner and outerwear on a day-to-day basis.
What sizes do you carry?
Any size between 8 and 12 will be available for pre-order.
Where was Powerlace created?
Powerlace was created in St-Hubert, Québec, Canada.
When was the first prototype built?
The first working prototype was built in 2004.
What if someone accidentally steps on the back of the shoe?
If someone accidentally steps on the back of the shoe it could release the tension. If this is the case, once you press again on the heel, the shoe will close. However, the lever on the back is flexible enough to avoid being caught on something.
Will you be able to put an orthotic sole in the shoe?
As for now on, you won't be able to insert an orthotic sole in them.
Did you ever consider marketing Powerlace to people with disabilities?
No distinction is made between our customers. However, our clients must be able to walk in order to activate the body weight lacing system.
Are you going to make any other kind of shoe?
Later on, we would like to implement our technology in new markets: women, kid's, safety, golf, running, etc.
How are you going to spend the money raised?
We will invest in new molds and machinery to manufacture Powerlace's P-One. Also, we are considering further research and development in order to expand the product range: women, kid's, safety, golf, running, etc.
Will you offer other sizes of the shoe?
Due to capacity constraints, we initially decided to offer only sizes between 8 and 12. However, we will do our best to enlarge our size selection if the quantity of requests coming from our backers is large enough.
What kind of activities would you say these shoes are aligned for?
Everyday wear, bushwalking, outdoor walking etc.
Why aren't your shoes available for shipping in my country ?
For legal reasons we cannot sell our product in the UK - trademark is not ours in this region of the globe. However, we are currently working out a solution for you to order nevertheless a pair of Powerlace shoes. Sorry for the inconvenience.
